The state of Alaska does not have a normal high school track season like most of the lower 48 states. Many states are well into their outdoor season, while Alaska enjoyed a rare indoor opportunity to compete on the country's only 400 meter indoor track found at The Dome in Anchorage this past weekend at the Big "C" Relays. The meet had 33 schools and over 900 athletes in attendance for Alaska's largest track and field meet. Foot Locker Nationals runner-up Trevor Dunbar of Kodiak High School turned in a solid 3200 meter time of 9:08.93. Chugiak High's Ethan Hewitt dipped under 50 seconds on the 400 meter indoor track in a 49.54 clocking. MileSplit US will attempt to bring you more results from some of the "frontier" states this year than in past years. Big "C" Relays - Complete Results
