Sophomores Who Could Win A State Title

VHSL Class 4

In Class 4 there are also three sophomore athletes who lead their event entering the weekend. Those athletes are Churchland's Layla Anderson in the 55 and 300, Deep Creek's Jalen Jones in the triple jump, and Deep Creek's Jessica Williams in the long jump.

These three athletes are joined however by another four athletes who rank inside the top three and all have serious shots at winning a title. Out of all the state meets, this could be the one with the most sophomore state champions.
