The performance capped a solid rookie season for Seiber, who garnered all-conference honors and was named the GNAC Freshman of the Year at the league awards banquet.
Alaska's men, who finished 7th overall (184 points), were led by sophomore

For the women, their fourth place finish tied the program record for best team finish. The women's squad finished fourth in 1997 (PacWest Conference) and 2002.
