FAIRBANKS, AK - The Alaska Nanooks women's cross country team dropped one spot to No. 5 in this week's U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Poll, announced Tuesday, following a race in Hawaii over the weekend, where they finished second to Brigham Young University Hawaii. The Seasiders took the Nanooks spot at No. 4 on this week's poll.
The Blue and Gold are idle for the next three weeks and resume the 2010 campaign on the road at the Pre-Regional meet being hosted by Western Washington in Bellingham, WA on Saturday, Oct. 23.
