Shadajah Leads Frosh Na'Taja To 5 National Titles

Sisters Shadajah Ballard and Na'Taja Ballard had quite the weekend. Older sister Shadajah finished 3rd in the 100H individually and ran on the victorious 4x1, SMR, and SHR. Little sister Na'Taja was a perfect five for five on the weekend winning the 4x1, Mixed 4x4, SMR, and 4x4.

Though there is definitely a rivalry between these two sisters who are rising sophomore and seniors but deep down you can tell that no matter the outcome they are always family.

That pattern really started in indoors where Shadajah at every turn was looking out for and trying to help all her teammates and especially her sister Na'Taja. Even if it meant helping her toughest competition she was doing it to help make her sister the best she could.

Both sisters are some of the best runners our state has ever seen. Together though they could be the best. To lead your greatest competition to higher success than your own is not easy but then again the Ballards don't like easy, they love working hard and winning.
