Eric Allen Jr. Becomes Seventh High Schooler To Go Under 21 Seconds In 200m Indoors

Bullis (MD) School senior Eric Allen Jr., a University of Tennessee signee, became the seventh high school athlete to go under 21 seconds in the 200m all-time, taking over a new US No. 1 mark on Saturday with an effort of 20.91 at the UK High School Indoor Invitational.

The time also broke a meet record held by Maxwell Willis, a graduate of Archbishop Carroll (DC) High, who previously set the facility record in 2016 with a time of 21.04. Illinois prep Marcellus Moore went 21.43 seconds to finish second.

Watch Allen fire out of the blocks and throw down in the final stages.
